Newsplint started life over 20 years ago as a privately run business, acting as the sole UK distributor for Waldemar LINK a German orthopaedic implant manufacturer. In 2003, United Drug Plc bought the business bringing a great deal of additional experience and a wealth of added resource.

LINK, a family owned business, has long been respected for its vision, quality and ongoing campaign to strive for better patient outcomes. Newsplint, United Drug and indeed our customers respect and appreciate these values.

Newsplint provide a vast range of implants and associated instrumentation addressing many aspects of joint arthroplasty ranging from the most basic primary systems to complex revision and custom made prosthesis. Most of these implant ranges are supported by excellent long term clinical pedigrees with many being best in class products internationally. These products are represented in the market by a skilled team of highly experienced professionals who can help and advise on product selection and use.
